Dynamic HTML Editor is a multi-language program and can support every know language for its interface.
You can translate the program into your language if this is not already present in the installation package.
Act as follows:
1- Open the program settings:
2- Check if your language already exists by selecting a valid item in the "Language" combo on the bottom of the dialog.
3- If the language doesn't exists click the button near the combo box
4- The "Ini Translation Utility" program will be opened This program will permit you to translate every sentence of one file to another, helping you when duplicate entried are found.
5- Choose the file to translate (Main file); I suggest you to use the "english.lng" file that is the base file used for all our programs. You can find this file into the installation path of Dynamic HTML Editor (something like "C:\Program Files\Dynamic HTML Editor")
6- If you have already started your translation and want to do more work on it, simply open the translated file (this should be called <yourlanguage>.lng where "yourlanguage" is the language you use; ex: italian.lng for italian people, dutch.lng for dutch people and so on...)
If you want to start a new translation go on the File menu and click the "Create a new translation file from an empty file" item.
Choose a name for the new file and click "Ok". A new file will be created on the same folder where the "english.lng" file is.
When acting on the "Program Files" folder on Windows Vista or Windows 7 you MUST have Administrator privileges to write a file to this folder or the program will report an error. If working on these system I recommend you to act as follows: 6a) Copy the english.lng file to a temporary folder 6b) Open the copied file from the temporary folder (step 6) 6c) Open the translation file or create a new empty translation file 6d) Translate the file, save it and copy it using Administrative Privileges into the original folder where the "english.lng" file was (check steps 7,8).
7- After having chosed the two files to compare you should see something like this:
8- Now simply press the "F3" key to find the next untranslated phrase, press ENTER or double click on the row to edit the translation and re-press ENTER to confirm it. Do these steps for every row of the file, save it and you are done.
Remember that Dynamic HTML Editor searches for translation modules in the same folder where the original "english.lng" file is, so you have to put the translated file into that folder.
